BAKE awards 2015 nominees revealed

Nominees for one of the biggest awards in Kenya, BAKE Kenyan Blog Awards 2015, were announced today at the Intercontinental hotel.
The list was chosen by judges comprising of bloggers and media personalities including Philip Mwaniki, Lynda Nyangweso, Mbugua Njihia, Joel Macharia and Ahmed Salim.
The voting process starts today (2nd March 2015)and ends on April 30th 2015.
During the launch Airtel CEO Adil El Youssefi, said that bloggers in Kenya must be supported and explained why Airtel is sponsoring the event this year.
“We must support the ecosystem around our business & bloggers are part of our ecosystem, we are sponsoring the blog awards this year because we also believe in local content” he said.
The BAKE awards focus on appreciating blogs that post on a regular basis, have great and useful content and are innovative.
